Species Group: Barb

Origin: Sri Lanka, specifically in the Kelani to Nilwala river basins.

Maximum Size: Approx 5cm

Diet: Albino Cherry Barbs are omnivores. They thrive on a varied diet of high-quality flakes or small pellets, supplemented with live or frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia.

Ideal Water temp: 22-28°C

PH: 6.0 -> 7.5

 

Temprement:

Albino Cherry Barbs are known for their peaceful and shy temperament. They are best kept in groups, as this reduces their shyness and encourages more natural schooling behavior. A great community fish.
