Species Group: Catfish

Origin: Rio Madeira basin in Brazil

Maximum Size: Approx 2.5cm

Diet: Albino Pygmy Corydoras are omnivores and opportunistic bottom feeders. In the aquarium, they thrive on a varied diet of high-quality sinking pellets or wafers, supplemented with small live or frozen foods like baby brine shrimp and microworms to ensure they receive a balanced nutrition and maintain their health.

Ideal Water temp: 22 - 26 degrees c

PH: 6.0  ->  7.5 (our pygmy corydora's breed in 7.4ph water...)

 

Temprement:

Albino Pygmy Corydoras are known for their peaceful and social temperament, making them excellent additions to calm community aquariums. They are happiest and most active when kept in groups of six or more, where they will often be seen foraging together on the substrate in a charming and lively manner.
