Origin: Island of Sulawesi (formerly known as Celebes) in Indonesia
Maximum Size: Approx 8cm
Diet: Celebes Rainbowfish (Telmatherina ladigesi) are omnivores in their natural habitat, feeding on small insects, algae, and other organic matter. In the aquarium, they thrive on a varied diet of high-quality flake or pellet food supplemented with small live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and daphnia to ensure optimal health and vibrant colors.
Ideal Water temp: 22 - 28 degrees c
PH: 7.5  ->  8.5 (our Celebes breed in 7.4ph water...)
 
Temprement:
Celebes Rainbowfish (Telmatherina ladigesi) are known for their peaceful and very active temperament, making them excellent community fish. They are social and thrive best when kept in schools of six or more individuals, where they will display their natural schooling behavior and their vibrant colors will be more pronounced.
