Diet: Green Barbs (Barbodes semifasciolatus) are omnivores that naturally consume small invertebrates and plant material. In captivity, they require a varied diet consisting of high-quality flake food supplemented with live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms, along with blanched vegetables to ensure they receive balanced nutrition.

Green Barbs (Barbodes semifasciolatus) are known for being active and generally peaceful fish, especially when kept in a proper school. They exhibit schooling behavior and are most comfortable and display their best colors when in groups of at least six or more individuals. While generally peaceful towards other species, they can sometimes be a bit boisterous and may nip the fins of slow-moving or long-finned fish if not kept in a sufficient school or in overly crowded conditions.

Absolute stunner and rare, underrated fish!! These look like a mini version of the UK Predatory trout... Ian loves these fish... :)
