Diet: L181 Peppermint Bristle nose Pleco are omnivores that primarily eat vegetable matter. Offer high-quality algae wafers and blanched vegetables daily. Supplement with small amounts of protein-rich foods a few times a week. Include driftwood for grazing. Feed at night and avoid overfeeding.

Temprement:
L181 Peppermint Plecos are generally peaceful and suitable for community tanks with other non-aggressive fish. However, males can be territorial towards each other, necessitating ample space and hiding places.
