Diet:
L183 Starlight Plecos are omnivores that primarily feed on vegetable matter. Offer high-quality algae wafers and blanched vegetables daily. Supplement with small amounts of protein-rich foods a few times per week. Driftwood is essential for grazing and digestion. Feed in the evening and avoid overfeeding.

pH: 6.0 – 7.5 (our L183 breed successfully in 7.4 pH water)
Temperament:
Generally peaceful and suitable for community aquariums with other non-aggressive fish. Males can be territorial towards other males, so adequate space and multiple hiding spots are recommended.
