Origin: Rio Xingu in Brazil however the SW line is captive bred
Maximum Size: Approx 12cm
Diet: The L236SW are omnivores with a preference for protein-rich foods. Their diet should include high-quality sinking pellets, frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp, and occasional vegetable matter.
Ideal Water temp: 25 - 30 degrees c
PH: 6.5  ->  7.5 (our L236SW's breed in 6.8ph water...)
 
Temprement:
L236SW plecos are generally peaceful but can be territorial towards other bottom-dwelling fish and conspecifics, especially in smaller tanks. Providing ample hiding places and caves (especially if encouraging breeding) is crucial.
