Origin: This species is native to the Rio Tapajós basin in Brazil

Maximum Size: Approx 15cm

Diet: The L264 Sultan Pleco is primarily a carnivore, requiring a diet rich in protein. In an aquarium setting, it readily accepts meaty foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and high-quality sinking carnivore pellets or wafers.

Ideal Water temp: 25 - 30 degrees c

PH: 6.0  ->  7.5 

 

Temprement:

The Sultan Pleco is generally a peaceful fish, but it can be territorial towards other bottom-dwellers, especially members of its own species or other similar-looking plecos.[2] To minimize aggression, it is important to provide ample space and numerous hiding spots within the aquarium.
