Species name: Pseudacanthicus leopardus

Species Group: Pleco

Origin: Rio Negro in Brazil

Maximum Size: Approx 40cm

Diet: The L600 Leopard Cactus Pleco is primarily carnivorous, feeding on dead fish, crustaceans, and insect larvae in its natural habitat. In captivity, they require a diet rich in high-protein sinking pellets, frozen meaty foods, and occasional vegetables to thrive.

Ideal Water temp: 25 - 30 degrees c

PH: 6.0  ->  7.5 (our L600 breed in 7.4ph water...)

 

Temprement:

L600 Leopard Cactus Plecos are generally considered semi-aggressive, especially towards other bottom-dwelling fish and conspecifics, particularly males. They require ample space and hiding places to minimize territorial disputes, and tank mates should be chosen carefully, ideally larger and more active species that occupy different areas of the tank.
