PLEASE READ TNT NOTES BELOW - ***PRICE IS FOR BAG OF 10 x Shrimp***
Mixed Shrimp Species Profile:
Common Name: Cherry Shrimp
Species name: Neocaradina Davidi
Species Group: Shrimp
Origin: Taiwan
Maximum Size: Approx 2-3cm
Diet: Neocaridina cherry shrimp are primarily detritivores and scavengers, constantly grazing on biofilm, algae, and decaying organic matter within the aquarium. To ensure optimal health and vibrant colors, supplement their diet with high-quality shrimp food and occasional blanched vegetables.
Ideal Water temp: 20 - 27 degrees c (our shrimp are kept at 23.5c)
PH: 6.5 -> 8.0 (our shrimp breed in 7.4ph water...)
Temperament:
Neocaridina shrimp are known for their peaceful and non-aggressive temperament, making them ideal inhabitants for community aquariums. They are active scavengers and will generally ignore other tank inhabitants. When housing them in a community setting, choose tank mates that are small and peaceful, as larger or more boisterous fish may see them as a food source; providing ample hiding places with plants and decor will also help the shrimp feel secure.
TNT Notes:
These shrimp have been taken from our high quality breeding lines.
They have been removed for various reasons but mainly because they do not display the correct colour or spread of colour.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grab a colourful and mixed clean up crew.
These are far cheaper than their true coloured counterparts...
IMPORTANT Note:
Pictures and videos are for reference and example only. The shrimp you receive will be whatever is in our low grade shrimp tank + whatever we need to select out of the main tanks at the time of your order.
We will try our absolute best to get a nice mix of colour for you but it obviously also depends what's in there at the time.
Think of this as a cheap and lucky dip of 10 x random coloured shrimp.
