Common Name: Orange Venezuelan Cory

Species name: Corydoras aeneus "Venezuela"

Species Group: Catfish

Origin: South America, specifically from drainages in northern Venezuela

Maximum Size: Approx 6-7cm

Diet: As omnivores, they have a varied diet. A healthy diet consists of high-quality sinking pellets, supplemented with frozen or live foods like bloodworms, daphnia, and brine shrimp. They will also graze on algae and biofilm in the tank.

Ideal Water temp: 22 - 28 degrees c

PH: 6.0  ->  7.5 

 

Temprement:

Orange Venezuelan Corys are very peaceful and social fish. They are a shoaling species and should be kept in groups of at least six to feel secure and display their natural behaviors. Their peaceful nature makes them excellent additions to a community aquarium with other non-aggressive fish.
