Diet: Pseudomugil gertrudae are omnivores, primarily feeding on small invertebrates, zooplankton, and some algal matter in their natural habitat. In an aquarium setting, they will readily accept a varied diet of high-quality crushed flake food, micro pellets, and small live or frozen foods such as daphnia, cyclops, and baby brine shrimp. A diverse diet helps maintain their distinctive spotting and overall vitality.

Temprement:
Pseudomugil gertrudae are peaceful, active, and social fish that do best in groups of six or more. They are well-suited for calm community aquariums with other small, non-aggressive species. Males will often display their extended fins and intensified colors to each other and to attract females, especially during breeding periods, adding dynamic interest to the aquarium.
